Today I fitted some Mantech stowage cages to the back of my 110. I already had the dog guard and Mantech window guards so now a full set. Now the dog can have the boot floor to him self with out all the 'essential' stuff falling on top of him.

I also removed my Mantech swing away spare wheel carrier and NAS step. Both will be taken to work by the Mrs' dad who has tasked his apprentice to strip them back (powder coat pealed and surface rust), treat and paint. Dropping the 110 off with him on Friday so he and his apprentice can do the rear crossmember.

Collected the 110 from the girlfriends old man. The before pic is above.

Chuffed to bits with the work his apprentice done considering its cost me a jar of coffee and a pack of biscuits. I'll sort what should be a body coloured strip below the door out another time. Treating, filling and spraying black with the fastest and cheapest thing to do.

Fitted a puma pod complete with a scan gauge and temperature display. Milled the scan gauge case to create a small lip to hid the cut out.

Fitted new bulkhead "hinge block" seals as I forgot to replace with new when I re-painted the windscreen surround and the recent rain reminded me with a wet foot Rolling Eyes

Been removing headlining front and back before heading over to Chris@ CSK aka KIller90 for some waxoyling and dynamatting tomorrow ... she seems v empty at the moment Confused

Also managed to contact Webasto about the leaking sunroof - hoping they just say to take the glass out, clean it around the edges and let the rubber reshape - maybe bit of silicone spray - and hopefully that will stop Mrs T getting wet knees all winter !

Had a service, then an MOT and then drove to North Wales for some paddling on the Llangollen canal Very Happy

Found the back window break light not working so had to do a quick re-wire job to fix it... Confused

The MOT was fine apart from an advisory on the power steering hose along the front cross member being pitted ... anyone have this before? (07 110 xs 92k on the clock) Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html

website is funnily arranged, yeah! home>products>expedition, then NOTE there is a 90 product and a 110 product, and from within that you have to select smooth/textured and front, rear arches front or rear arches rear Cheers, David

Took a drive over to Hoddeston to killer's lair ! ... horrible, wet journey but rewarded with good cup of tea and a chat - not too long though as left him to start work on the unit full of cars before getting to mine !

See you Friday Chris ... and as just busted out of poker tournament I'll be over on Saturday with some bits Wink

+1 for above comment.
