Not sure about a double cab but there was definitely a 130 with a large box body used as a mobile workshop. Darren

I have seen the 130 box one, and the 110 HCPU, and I am sure theres a double cab in one of the events, could have been listed as 127. 2010 Defender 130 HCPU

That's just a vaguely camel coloured 130 - not an event vehicle. Darren

A 127 was used as a support vehicle in the 1990 Edition, Siberia, USSR. Link. Cheers, Vincent

Oops. It shows how little attention to the picture I actually paid, it hasn't even got any camel stickers on it An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

There were 5 turbo diesel 127's used as support on the 1990 Sibera event 2 single cab box body workshop units and 3 double cab with box body. 2 used and communications vehicles and 1 general support. The rear bodies were custom made rather than being the standard quadtech. The workshop units weighed over 4t loaded though so got stuck a bit. Only 2 of the 5 are left, a single cab workshop unit that goers to most of the UK shows and a double cab that is in Germany. Here's a few pics.
