Ran it thru the car wash, including hot wax. Towel dried it, treated all 5 tires with Michelin tire shine, WD-40 inside both trailer sockets, inside antenna, and on the door hinges. Treated all exterior plastic bits with a matt plastic cleaner, including the A-bar, front bumper end caps, engine and fan covers, door handles... Checked oil level and tire pressure, and last but not least, removed my emission control sticker from the rear side window, even if it was still good til April 2014... Reason is that Switzerland in the beginning of 2013 abolished the biennial emission control requirement for all cars which are Euro 4 and higher .
Before.... Click image to enlarge and After.... Click image to enlarge You never actually own a Defender. Hi BM52 and Generaldej,
Its the main reason I swapped to Garmin, they also have free lifetime traffic and map offers at the moment. Just can't find a Garmin hardwired kit, or a separate traffic cable. Also even with the updates, TomTom kept loosing its traffic signal??? _______________________________ Puma Defender 90 |

Replaced the viscous fan coupling.
Gone from being a slight breeze to a howling gale so success! The old one was well dead... Click image to enlarge |

Refitted the amp and sub as the dogs rarely get into the 90 now. Had it sound checked by an expert SWMBO as I'd really mess it up. Wanted it so that it made the music more full, don't want the "boy racer" thump thump sound. _______________________________

Not barrels unfortunately, it’s a cylinder block for a vertical steam engine. Currently undergoing a repaint and restoration. Defenders are powerful, but nothing against twin 6"x8" piston valves Talking about barrels though, have always wanted to make a cannon. |

Fitted Td5 dash warning lamps and switches to centre dash. Just need the plug from a TD5 rear loom so I can solder to my loom and then connect to Td5 rear door. The orange light on rear heated screen switch is on with dash illumination. Well if thats all thats wrong after a lot of snipping of wires, it cant be bad !!
