Swivel Joint seal leaking
Hi

On my car the LH swivel joit seal was leking oil.
I inforned my dealer as the car is just one year old. He now has changed the oil for grease. Is this normal?

It should have had grease from the start. I suspect what was happening is that axle oil was migrating past that seal into swivel joint and then leaking out on heat expansion through the swivel seal.

as far as i know LR changed to grease long time ago. Yours should not have oil in the swivels but grease. If there was an oily substance in the swivels you probably have you diff oil migrating past the seals into the swivels. (seal part nr FTC3276)

In short, your grease will be oil again after some time. Did they check diff oil level? might be worth looking at it before the diff is "running dry".
