Today I fitted some Mantech stowage cages to the back of my 110. I already had the dog guard and Mantech window guards so now a full set. Now the dog can have the boot floor to him self with out all the 'essential' stuff falling on top of him.

I also removed my Mantech swing away spare wheel carrier and NAS step. Both will be taken to work by the Mrs' dad who has tasked his apprentice to strip them back (powder coat pealed and surface rust), treat and paint. Dropping the 110 off with him on Friday so he and his apprentice can do the rear crossmember.

Yesterday, I got close to having all the same colour gauges, as opposed to 4 different colours a week ago. I just need 2 more LED lights then they will be the same, even my EGT gauge - far right gauge.

Broke Down
Title says it all, all fine driving along outside lane of the M4 traffic building up so slowed down and had to change down from 6th....and nothing, other than lots of cars rapidly hurtling towards me. On with hazards, pump the accelerator, nothing then it kicks in. So as my backside eases and the knotted feeling in the stomach recedes, I accelerate away, change up and nothing. As before it kicks back into life, so with throttle back I lane swap into the near side and all seems okay. As I hit all the traffic near Heathrow back it comes, instantly decide to get off motorway as luckily at a slip road. Pull off switch off lift the bonnet and all seems okay except small leak of oil at the vacuum pump, obviously that needs addressing but shouldn't be the lack of throttle issue.
Gently eased it up the road as I was just a mile from work and a better place to arrange assistance. LRA attend within an hour of calling, diagnose fuel pressure not being maintained at idle, did question if fuel was tainted, but thought may just be a sensor fault, plus agreed vacuum pump needed replacing. Courtesy car dropped off, AA picked it up and it's now with the local Dealer. _______________________________

@Nobby

a right pain and a bit of a scare but at least the AA and dealer sound efficient. Hope you get it sorted quickly BM52

There's been a few of us who've shared that experience, won't be long before we get the "They all do that sir" Got mine done on the insurance by autoglass, took them 3 attempts and over a week to turn up with the right rubber seal, third brakelight glass, and even then it wasn't tinted but I still took it as I filmed it in limo black anyway. I put the film on before the chap fitted it, so much easier to do it in the flat!

Fitted my new rear speaker pods (cut down TDCi ones to fit the TD5) and speakers, and also fitted the power socket that was in the dash (replaced with a USB socket) into the o/side pod, then listened to some Johnny Cash as loud as all 4 speakers would handle Thumbs Up
