Found this great product at Tallon today at the adventure overland show.
It's a great idea. It's a small socket that can take a ram mount and a massive weight, so is ideal for iPad mounting or any other system. I think its great, it's quick release, looks good, very strong, subtle, well priced, it's the . You either fix via a 28mm hole, a carling switch void, or use one of their larger mounting options that also contain 12v socket and USB, and are waterproof. I brought the 28mm one but now think I will upgrade to a larger mount with power points. Will post up pics when I've fitted mine, but suggest you look at www.tallonsystems.co.uk, or talk to Alastair Badman on 07717096177. Very very very nice helpful people, we discussed there product and defenders for quite a long time. They have also mentioned that if people mention this forum they will give you the show prices, and are willing to do a deal for a group buy to late for me as was too good not to buy there and then. The plan is to fit it next to the stereo on the passenger side, of the Tdci dash. Think it will be ideal and recall seeing on here others mounting kit there, so assume there is room, and it's only small.

Looks an interesting product but doesn't it rely heavily on the structural strength of the material you mount it through to actually work?
I can't see an iPad being very stable at the end of an arm mounted to a flimsy switch cut out? |

Looks like a very simple and best solution and when the mount is detached it doesn't advertise you use/have a iPad or similar in your car
I'll be ordering one soon |

No advertisement as it just looks like a jack point for somthing like a USB hole or similar.
Is very stable and a great addition. Will possibly change mine to the larger mount that contains a 12v and USB socket, then fit this one into the wife's freelander, as she now requires one Andy |
