What thread
Any body know what thread wheel studs are?

Must be something imperial, or a bit different as I can't match it with anything that I've got

Thanks but it's not nuts I require, it's bolts.

I've got a spare wheel carrier on the back of the double cab with studs, but they are a different thread, so my nuts won't fit. Only thing I can think of doing is replacing these studs with the correct threaded items.

So next question who sells M16x1.5 bolts?

They an an ISO metric Fine Series thread, whereas almost all other metric threads you'll come across are from the much more common ISO metric Coarse Series.

There is also an even less common Extra Fine Series.

For an M16 thread, the pitches are as follows:-

Coarse Series - 2.0mm
Fine Series - 1.5mm
Extra Fine Series - 1.0mm

Taps, dies, studs, nuts, etc are all available from specialist suppliers. Google M16 x 1.5 bolt and you'll find many suppliers, they are actually not that unusual!
