I will have had my 110 for just over 2 years at Dec 2015 but if I hate the look of its replacement, I might just do that. 1970 Series 2A 88"

It’s my understanding that Euro 6 is to be introduced in September 2015 for N1 vehicles and it’s been clear for a long time that there won’t be a Euro 6 Defender. But how do you arrive at the date of 20th Dec as being the “last Defender off the line”? Which year?

Zahy, was your dealer able to confirm prices, specs, colours etc. for a vehicle to be delivered in two year’s time? Mine certainly can’t.

hi Peter, no prices or options confirmed what happen is that the deposit will guarantee delivery for my 2015 december SLOT, once the allocation is made for the dealer for the corresponding year.
to make it clearer i ve ordered range rover sport to be delivered in June/july next year, however the deposit was paid back in September this year and to date I still have no confirmed options or final prices or even a delivery date waiting for my dealer my dealer to receive his allocation for vehicles ( it seems each dealer in the country get certain amount of LR AND RR ) and your deposit guarantee your place in the queue with the dealer not with LAND ROVER JAGUAR. what is guaranteed is that my local dealer will have defender for me in December 2015. 2.2 90 XS |

Zahy,
Thanks for the clarification, will do the same. And if the "final" run-out spec isn't to my liking, I'll get the deposit refunded - let's face it, they'll be a squillion other aficionados/idiots happy to take up the slot! Peter |

For a long while we were considering it, we quite fancied a red 90 SW...but realistically it won't happen. We just can't justify another Landrover, already having four to drive and pay for. I would also think it highly unlikely we would have the replacement model either. 2011 110 USW

As an aside, I wonder if Twisted will buy a batch? If not will they become a used Defender builder? 1951 80" S1 2.0

Certainly on considering ... waiting to see what specifications will be available ... finger crossed for a TDV8
or maybe the replacement model ... depending on what it's like Last edited by bpman on 8th Oct 2013 8:37pm. Edited 1 time in total |
