After hearing of all the virtues of heated seats I decided to give it a try but being a cheapskate I have taken a different approach. On Amazon there were a pair of "Comfy heated seat pad cushions" for less than £20 so I thought I'd give them a punt. As I use seat covers, the, shh Britpart ones, I've slipped them underneath so they're not seen plus they won't move around as I get in and out. These ones have two heat settings and a lead that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket, now that I've tried one for a couple of days it looks like they'll be staying and I'll hardwire them through master switches. For a cheap and cheerfull solution they seem to work plus a bit of extra padding is quite welcome at my age

Replacement or modification? Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

My front diff went (08 PUMA) with 23000 on the clock and there was no leak so dont kick yourself over it Now go and buy an Ashcroft ATB which is better and cheaper than the land rover one and forget about it William |

I'm doing some upgrades at the moment:
Before: Click image to enlarge After: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Today i polished my Defender and applied som tyre gel. Got the matt black wrap on the roof and bonnet + the wheels black powder coated earlier this week. I'm waiting for a Blacksheep rear cross member, new winch bumper, black TD5 decal, mudflaps and leather Recaro Specialist M seats to arrive. Still doubt whether to wrap the rest of the Defender in Bonatti grey or Java black, i to keep it this way.......... What is your opinion? |
