Yes - took them off (drilled the rivets), scrubbed them, used an etch primer & then Hammerite satin black spray... Fixed them back with rivnuts. Look ok so far - although I'm trying not to step on them for a while to let the paint harden!

Clearly pics of Defenders doing anything other than modelling bling or against pretty backdrops aren't of interest. Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. Went out & did a few lanes around North York Moors.
Never came across anyone else on the lanes. |

Took the crystals headlamps off the ICE ... can you guess why
The Green 110 never fails to amaze me, it's been sat in the rain for days now and still no water ingress, I re-checked the registration document, and it defo states Land Rover |
