Just been out and bolted my ebay bargain on, second hand fuel pressure regulator. I've done the seal kit on mine but it then started to drip from the hole on the valve part and not really wishing to part with £180ish on a genuine new part I noticed a take off part for just over £13, well worth a punt. Ran a new bead of sealant around the back of the rocker cover where the semi circle fits, I'll pick one up in due course.
Just keep an eye on it now to see if the cheap fix works, no reason why not, the casing manufacturing date on the new one is 2006 which is 4 years newer than the motor itself! |

Took it for its third service and MOT ahead of its official birthday on Monday. Passed with flying colours
Good service and price from Lancasters Reading and use of a 13 plate Freelander HSE for the day too. Would recommend them if your are local ( no affiliation). |

Been doing some wiring this afternoon in the sun! I have now swapped the viscous fan for a Kenlowe fan and installed a pair of X-Lites on my roll bar. Also wired up a switch ready for installing the new heated screen I got from Claire.

Noticed that some scrote has dragged a key down the driver's side of my 2 week old 110, from the front of the driver's door to the rear corner behind the fuel flap.
Thankfully, it isn't deep and I have taken it out with some polish and a cloth. But, I am still furious that someone has done this. I have been very careful not to park too close to anyone and given the turning circle of a 110 have parked away from others in the supermarket car park. 1970 Series 2A 88" |

Got DRL's that replace the side lights, they dim when the lights are turned on, a little expensive but real pleased with the results. Also added a diesel badge.
