Thank you. I have been lurking in the forum for ages.
This is my 3rd defender so far in life & I really have been fortunate to be able to get this one. My LR dealer was meant to supply it with 265 tyres, but it arrived with 235s - I still need to sort that out. I need to live with it for a few weeks now before I do anything else, but am looking for a storage drawer that will fit neatly into the back - I removed the fold up seats. If anyone has fitted a Masai, Terrafirma, or Sense of Adventure drawer in a Puma and they have a pic I would really appreciate it. I want a nice carpeted top that gives me flat storage out over the wheel arches with a drawer for secure storage. Still sitting with an ear to ear smile M |

Marty M...Lovely unit mate,...and dynamat & intercooler/map from new. Just what I'd like to do with our 90 when it arrives in a month or so.....trouble is, in Aus, I don't know anyone who could do that.
With those specs, and a bit more "grunt", I reckon you've just about got the "Perfect Puma". Any dyno figures, before/after for the modified engine? Cheers, Pickles. |

Love the seats.
What make of RTC damper did you have fitted? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender |

Hi Pickles,
No dyno figures - Alive could probably provide a good estimate. It is all their kit. Hi BigWheels - Terrafirma damper. The seats are super comfy. M |

That looks amazing inside! The stitching reminds me of something from Bentley

Lovely truck with some nice additions. Refreshing to see somebody else prepared to 'throw caution to the wind' and individualise the vehicle prior to the warranty expiry. I couldn't wait either. I had no issues and I'm sure you won't either.
If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Lovely car - looks smashing; enjoy it.
Has anything been done to the suspension? Who did the seats - they look very nice. Bob Bob Sheeley |

Chewey7 Thank you - A Bentley would probably be a wee bit more graceful & silent
K9F - Thank you - What did you do to yours? I have had 2 TD5s from new and had no issues with about 100k miles on each. I remapped them both, but did not do the intercooler / exhaust / filter thing. This is a completely different experience. Hopefully this Puma will be similarly reliable. Bob - Thank you - The suspension is stock for now. I do go off road a bit when fishing & shooting and did not want to lower it. I was considering Blistein dampers, but I am going to give these stock items a go for a while. The seats are from Exmoor. I asked them if they could do the Diamond XS pattern which they normally do in vinyl, but with black leather and sliver stitching. It turned out really well - Nice soft leather, and good professional stitching. They forgot to send the seatbelts & spreader plates, so that is on the todo list. M |

That looks great Marty
you have obviously researched and prepped well for your Defender purchase Just to let you know one of our longstanding Def2 members, Spudfan, is very complimentary about Toppings in Enniskillen so if you don't get the level of service you expect from your ( presumably Belfast located dealer) it might be worth a trip to Fermanagh |
