Spent most of yesterday fitting an X-Eng gear stick lock. Sounds simple, in fact it was far from it!

The transfer stick was too far forward, thus preventing the correct fitment. In the instructions, X-Eng state that the adjustments can be made..

The easiest way to access this adjustment is by removing the panel under the centre seat. The adjustment is directly below.

Rolling with laughter What a lie! It's nowhere near the centre panel! I had to remove the transmission tunnel, and then faff about. All sorted now though Thumbs Up An engine to TDi for!

Bought from Brendan @ 4x4 Overlander; 2 Lightforce 170s, 1 Lf 140. Ordered Nakatenga pair of Series 3 lookalike Headlamp surrounds. Bought from ebay 4 Lf filters.

Spent a shedload on Defender enjoyment & embellishment this year. Actually just bought a shed too. Had a poke round and added new footwell to the growing list of parts and jobs lol

But nothing's getting done till the clutch/flywheel issues are sorted
Then a nice trip to see family and maybe some lanes on Somerset Devon
