My other half's family used to live in Dover, I live in Bournemouth, on a good run and at the right time you can do it in 2 hours 30 minutes. No more than 1 hour 30 from London to Bournemouth, M3, M27, A31, A338.
Come visit us it's a nice neck of the woods and not as far as you think! Ned may even give the bumper a liberal coating of 'jam on it' for you! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Glad you relocated your 'spirit of adventure' Was going to be sarcastic and say that if it was a little too far maybe Ned's missus could meet you halfway on her rollerblades...... If you do pop down and have time to spare I'll pop kettle on if Ned doesn't. But with our southern charm and hospitality he'll probably insist on paying for a slap up meal for you somewhere really expensive....I would if you came all that way for a bumper off me! Glyn is 'hime' welsh for home or a village I've not heard of? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
