England 2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black
21 years later, a Defender at last
Hi all. I had to sell my 1965 109" 12 seater back in 1992 Big Cry and only got a LR again 4 years ago when I got the Series 2A.

I always wanted a Defender though and I finally picked it up on Friday afternoon. She is a 110 XS in Santorini black.

I could not see it on the forecourt when I got there but after going in, the dealership unveiled it from under a huge cloth at the front of the showroom like it was something exotic at a show Mr. Green

One full tank of fuel later (at their expense Thumbs Up ) and I was on my way.

Filthy weather put paid to Plan A, which was a run straight to Zagato Bow down for the full treatment so she will have to wait until next Friday now.

Congratulations -- both very nice indeed. I could swear I saw a 2a like that drive through our village a few weeks back, on the day we picked up our 110. The kids waved, and the driver have us the wave back Smile enjoy the new arrival, looks great! 2009 110 XS Station Wagon

I think it's a hangover from the industrial revolution cos they all called steam engines she. Beyond that I think it is because like women cars take all your money a vast amount of your time make you bleed and cry and yet somehow make you come back for more. Either that or we are just a bit odd. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Thought it was from 'Ships' ?? but now seems to apply to most vehicles.

One of the only things I can think of that has a Gender in the English language ??
(apart from things that do actually have genders obviously)
