[Wanted] Wanted 10AS alarm ECU ending 280
Hello All,

I want to retrofit central locking and need an ECU part no. YWC106280 for my poverty spec 2003 Td5.

Its the green box behind the dash.

The one ending 270 won't do alas.

Is there one out there?

Now a 2013 110 USW too.

You can piggy back a remote c/l relay off the multi plug on the relay, bought off fleabay or if you're adept with circuit boards, solder a relay off a scrap disco board onto your board.

Thanks but for the money the xxx280s seem to have been available for in the past, I'd still go with a new unit.

Ah. The last 280 I saw on ebay (hadn't worked out I needed it) in August was £39 + p&p

There's a 270 thats been on offer for ages at £75 buy it now but no interest.

If you're right it's out with the soldering iron but I'm hoping someone on here might have one. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop

Here's the two photos of the connections on the pcb - I'm sure they will give the electronics experts on here palpitations, but still going strong after three years!

As long as you don't want to know where they connect to on the relay.....I can't find that photo, but if needed I can drop the relay and check, from memory, its easy to check where they go to with a 50:50 chance on the open close circuits.

If you haven;t realised its possible to fiddle the ecu out through the speaker hole, speeds things up!
