Had the 110 up to 80mph (private road guv!) this afternoon - never managed it before..............
Might be down to all the crap I cleaned out of the air box (intake side), and the fact that I 'removed' that useless looking impeller thing (sure I've read on here that its of no use), general pick up seems smoother now, and 50 to 70 acceleration makes for some never-before-had overtaking ability Td5 110 HD Hardtop.......not quite standard |

Fitted rear springs that I got from K90 a while ago. Still have the fronts and all 4 shocks to do but will save that for another day.
Also replaced the single horn with a double snail-type bought from bolt on bits at Peterborough. Much better sound and I'll be less reluctant to blast idiot drivers now. The single horn was a bit pathetic. 2015 90 XS CSW TDCi - Beautiful 2007 110 XS DCPU - An itch that needed scratching 2005 90 Td5 XS CSW - Utterly brilliant 2001 Discovery 2 ES Auto - A phase I went through 1996 90 Tdi CSW - Uber reliable 1989 90 2.5 Petrol Hardtop - My first proper Landy 1985 Range Rover Vogue V8 -Troublesome |

Replaced the screws holding the radiator grill on with Stainless ones.
Modified the bottom bracket on the A bar so now I don't need to remove all four bumper bolts to remove the A Bar. Checked the engine oil, PAS fluid, Brake fluid and header tank water. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Nice one I have seen many pictures on here with a rather big sticker in the window, similar to yours. What is that exactly? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
