2005 Defender 110 Td5 HT Belize Green
If I am lucky I will collect my new 110 in Loire blue next week. When I chose the car there was only Baltic blue on the website but by the time I go to Jeremy's desk Loire blue had replaced it. Jeremy got the paint chips out for both but I was not able to discern any difference between them, even when compared against a Baltic blue Discovery.

I chose Baltic/Loire blue as something different to all the grey ones around, I hope it does not become too popular! Smile

United Kingdom 2013 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Loire Blue
MussEd''s picture captures the blue perfectly - it can be difficult to get the representation right because these dark blues seem to appear even darker in low light. Mine arrived this week and it looks really smart - I was planning for Baltic blue, but has to make the change - but glad I did. Anyway, sparkly as it is, I do think it needs just a little mud adding but after last night rain the lanes are back to brown splosh again.

I was also unsure if the very pricey premium seats would be worthwhile, the good news here is (a) that I did decide to have them and (b) they are really supportive on a long journey.

Good choice!! Leave the greys for the utility companies... Wink I had to look around for a while to find my blue CSW secondhand, and probably paid slightly over the odds when I did find it. I have never regretted holding out for the right colour, albeit a lighter shade than the Baltic/Loire. Even at 15 years old, it still looks good when washed, and the aluminium corrosion doesn't look too bad..... Whistle The LR colours are a bit depressing for the rest of the range (Freelander, the only difficult choice is the colour, what colour????) so making a statement with the Defender is quite interesting. Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.
