Approach-Departure Rollers
Searching the internet for roofrack roller ideas and came across these, which I'd never seen or heard of before.

The theory sounds good but I'm guessing the idea has not taken off on this side of the pond - or has it?

Might be useful mod to some of those tubular rear bumperettes a few people have? Wonder if they could also be incorporated into the lower edge of a current bumper?

I'd guess they're specifically aimed at rock crawling, which is obviously much bigger in the States than over here. In mud they'd just clog up and reduce ground clearance. Darren

I'd imagined one let into the lower rear edge of a square bumper, so would have minimal effect on ground clearance.
