Started as a sprus up & quickly turned into a FULL rebui
I always intended to paint n tidy my little Landy. You know, nothing major, just a little bit here and a little bit their. Maybe try and make it a bit warmer when I'm towing my ned in the winter. So I joined this forum to have a look see for hints n tips to what other peeps do to their Landys..... Shocked For an impressionable person like myself you're all a very bad influence! Razz I had no idea you could buy and do so much cool stuff to a Landy! I knew literally everything on a Landy could be replaced if it broke or rotted so that's why I got one.

So while my other half had some space in his garage, I booked her in for her tidy n lick of paint.... And it's just mutated into a monster project from their! After seeing all the fine examples on here I really wanted to do a proper job so it was easy to take advantage of the other halfs perfectionist nature Twisted Evil

So here's the start of my project and although slow going im loving it! .... Other half not so much as he's the one doing the mechanical and electrical side Whistle

Hope these picture work..... Neutral

These are the before

It was at this ponit that we decided the bulkhead was Censored and needed replacing....and then we found some spots on the Galvanised chassis which were starting to rot Sad
The chassis has done well as it was built in 1990 and as we've came this far we decided on a new Galvanised Chassis....which seriously dented my budget but worth it in the long run.

Well, she looks like a "well used", but loved 90, who is now going to receive some well deserved "T.L.C.".
I am looking forward to following your progress.
Great Pictures. Thanks, Pickles.

Jimbob7 - Thanks those wheels are cool, a proper porn star pink! Laughing

Gum97 - You've probably seen us round chester, she's been off the road for a few months, cleaning all the parts has taken ages! Can't wait till she's done

Theorangebandit - Other half's got his own garage so I nicked the space before he filled it with another car, I'd be a real struggle if we didn't have the space to put all the bits

Lou sparts - Yeah was going to sell it but think the OH now wants it to do another build..... Like he has time Rolling Eyes A word to the wise isn’t necessary - it's the stupid ones that need the advice.

Between the two evils I always pick the one I never tried before.
