I always park near/next to other Defenders in a car park. Don't know why it is just a strange herding instinct that seems to come with Defender ownership!

I like to park next to other Defenders for 2 reasons:
A. I don't look like a weirdo walking across a car park to look at someone elses truck (just have a gander whilst getting out and waiting for the missus to get all her stuff together ). B. In general Defender owners are proud of their vehicles and won't just wing their door into the side of your truck like other motorists. Glyn |

Yes that's Tesco in stow
Valid point about the door slamming didn't occur to me. Althoughi do have side steps which are infact heat at as a barrier to stop nob heads door |

Reason "B" is a major issue for any caring car owner. A mate of mine saw a large 4WD park next to a car in a shopping centre.....woman got out, slammed her door into the next car....mate looked at the door....a nice dent.....caught up to the woman.....told her what she'd done.....she just said, "Oh, those things happen in a car park", & walked off? Motel parking is invariably an issue, the spaces are so sight, if the driver next to you isn't careful, the result can quite easily be a dent/marks etc. Of course it's quite easy to avoid all of this....problem is, some drivers just don't give a stuff. Cheers, Pickles. |

If I was you pickles I would have eaten my lip not to kicked her door in and claim those things happen then leave. Or use my defender with enough torque to re align the sun to tow her car some where else
