I have the same problem with my little one. Problem is his legs aren't long enough to go into the footwell so stick out forward. Problem with locating the seat in the middle on pre pumas is the lack of a 3 point belt. I have been considering if its possible to improve this but can't see how.
The premium seats look great but very expensive are they worth the money? And you can't get the 3 point centre like the puma |

seams there a lot of people who has this problem
strange nobody has found a solution so far... (if there is one ofcourse..) @ regard : my kis is maby 90cm (2year-old) but the problem is he cannot bend his knees because of the seat (like somebody above already said) and therefor needs to force his legs into some strange angel Putting the seat in the middle would probably be a solution (wil check this) but is not handy to put him in the seat |

I have 3 kids, luckily 2 are now out of booster seats - was extra tight with three child seats across the back.. But anyway some suggestions:
1 - Sit the front seats more upright, better for your back anyway. 2 - Move the front seats forward a little, less leg room in the front but more in the back. 3 - Get a smaller steering wheel which if you are well proportioned will allow you to sit further forward without the steering brake being applied. 4 - Put the kid in the middle rear, all of my Infants have been in the middle rear, only place a rear facing seat would go. You get used to stepping inside to strap them in. 5 - Get a different booster seat, some have a larger base than others which pushes the kids legs up higher if that makes sense. |

I have to admit that I thought the floor was the same, and only the position of the rear seat differed. I have just measured my 2007 County-spec Puma DC. The floor is 18" front to back, but the front edge of the rear seat squab is 6" forward of the vertical face at the rear of the floor. I *believe* that on an SW or USW the floor is still 18" but the whole seat is mounted some 2" to 3" further back. I would hate to ride any distance in the back seat! |
