Double posting
Am not sure what is happening but I have recently done a few double posts.

Have notice that other people have managed to do double/treble posts.

What am I and others doing wrong or is there a glitch in the system?

If I can avoid double posts it will save on bandwidth etc and save Martin getting his scissors out and brush and pan out.

I find that if i press the "back" button on my browser then that creates a secondary post.

DON'T PRESS BACK.

There is absolutely no need as the forum will IMMEDIATELY take you back to view the post you've just entered.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Sorry, its just a habit on Mac's as you just swipe your fingers and it goes back a page. However I haven't done it for a while now after I worked out what was happening. Embarassed

Part of the problem is, if you don't use the back button, then sometimes when you press new posts again it says there are no posts that meet your criteria, which then means you have to go through each section to try and work out which posts you have read and those that you haven't. I know its lazy, but thats the society that we live in these days, everyone wants everything to be easy. This is the reason i use the back button.

Regards,

Mark

The "new posts" list should NOT reset to nothing after you enter a post, that's not normal behaviour and suggests a cookie/login session problem Confused  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Maybe its just me, but it does happen on all of my Apple devices, iPad, iPhone, Macbook Pro and Macbook Air. Maybe its an Apple thing?
