| Coarse + Fly Fishing Around Lake Como | |
We stayed in Bellagio, Italy last year, having travelled there by train, and thought it was beautiful.
This year we have rented an apartment in the town, and will be travelling down there in our (hopefully) trusty Defender!
I took a Hardy Avon Smuggler rod with me last time and, having previously obtained a tourist permit in Menaggio, did a bit of coarse fishing on the outskirts of town (Punta Spartivento).
I am keen to do a bit more angling this time, and having the Defender should open up a few more options.
I know that I can coarse fish on Lakes Como, Lugano, Piano, etc, but dream of fly fishing for wild trout on crystal clear mountain streams.
