Defender-sized wheel clamp recommendations?
Can anybody point me at a wheel clamp that will fit a Land Rover wheel and tyre that I could use with my Sankey trailer? I had one years ago for a Desert Wolf trailer but can't, for the life of me, remember the make Rolling Eyes Darren

Thanks. They don't go wide enough for 265 tyres unfortunately. And they're nearly £200 Shocked Darren

And the biggest model is for tires with a diameter of upto 760mm. I measured my standard GG TR 235/85-16 and they are about 800mm... You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

That's the one you need, it's not as huge as it looks in that picture - they've used a small lorry to make the clamp look bigger than it actually is.

I've got one of them on my 110, which is kept on my front drive -

I get far too many "dy'a wanna sell dat jeep" enquiries, from Transit driving nomadic Irish types Mad

A mate, who clamps vehicles as part of his job, recommended this type of clamp, called the 'London triangle clamp', as one of the Police approved types, which is virtually impossible to remove quietly, and can't be driven away with it fitted, without causing a LOT of damage.

.

I, I can't seem to find a large enough wheel clamp for my 110 and the link on the thread doesn't seem to work. Where did you get the wheel clamp?

Try here http://saundersonsecurity.co.uk/london-tri...gILSfD_BwE

It's not where I bought mine but seems to be the same product.

Altrrnatively google "London triangle wheelclamp" but remeber you need the "hgv" size for a Defender.
