I would have suggested head gasget as a possible reason, and thats from previous experience. The last time it happened to me it blew the oil and water out of the dipstick. Don't make old people mad.

Did you see any tell tale signs on the head or gasket to show damage or any deformation? Cheers! |

Not before it was stripped afterwards only then with a known true edge and feeler gauge, still wasn't sure so had test dial indicator run over the head and block which showed that they were not true, resulting in both being ground flat. Don't make old people mad.

Thinking a very light skim to clean to start with (payment in beer as a mate will do it)
Then just need to get it pressure tested.... Fingers crossed I don't need a new head. |
