Chunk,
I have an OEM soft A -Bar and had some brackets manufactured to hang my 240 XGT Lighforces from! There is a picture of the brackets in my gallery on page 2 that I cannot figure out how to post from my I phone, there is also pictures of my lights mounted. Also got fingers like pigs tits! If such brackets would suffice your needs I need a rudamentary drawing of what you need and I can get them made! You will need to consider depth of light, grille position in relation to mounting (do you have air con) as much information as possible! Let me know if I can assist! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Thanks K9 but its actually the bottom brackets that fix the A-Frame to the bumper that are giving me grief.
Steve, the threat of divorce, homelessness & destitution has only just (so far) reigned any competitive nature in the race for toy supremacy, but I think its fair to say there is a list of future acquisitions and you're Mrs is right, by his own admission Phil is a bit of a tart (only messing mate ) |

Again Chunk,
I have access to extensive engineering workshops, rather than 'butcher' - adapt, supply me with a drawing of what you require and material spec and I'll see if it can be made! They always try and oblige! Thanks Disco I have received good advice and help from several site members - Fekete, NickS, Willy and Glyn (apologies for anyone I may have missed) to name but a few in the past and feel it gratifying to 'give a little back' to someone else! Undoubtedly I too will need help/advice again some time! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Chunk,
I too may have misread your initial post as it appeared 'you wanted something to hang your lights from!' Bottom line provide me with drawing and I'll see what (if anything) can be done to prevent you from axing/grinding/flame throwing/circular sawing your pride and joy! Hi I may be reading this wrong, ?? You have a Gen Soft A bar, and you are fitting both a winch and lamps ?? Is the A bar the winch version ?? Like this one ?? ie no lower cross bar ?? Yes it's exactly like that one.
The only difference is I have a Mantec pattern bumper and goldfish winch. I'm coming to realise that the only winch and bumper the a-frame is designed to fit is the factory option. Chunk |
