I bougth it of a Webshop in Germany, Abenteurtechnik.de. I ordered 3 pieces of 2 m2 each, there is approx. 3/4 piece left over, planning to use it on the sides. I think it is nice material to work with, easy cutting, strong adhesive, and much cheaper than Dynamat Cheers, Vincent 1959 Polynorm 1/4 Ton Trailer, Olive Drab Green (sold) 1970 M416 Military Trailer (Camping Trailer Conversion), Epsom Green (sold) 1975 Series III 88 V6, Light Green (sadly sold) 1996 Defender 110 CSW 300 Tdi, Epsom Green (sold) 2000 Freelander 1 TD4 3-drs, Silver (sold) 2006 Freelander 1 TD4 5-drs Facelift Automatic, Tonga Green (sold) MySite |

Cheers for that, I'll have a look online. There's a few ebay shops sell it but I think its about £25 for a sq mtr roughly. Which I thought was expensive.

car audio direct sell it too.
It's a completely different product to dynamat though and shouldn't really be compared. Dynamat, is a vibration damper, whereas the foam is more of an isolation layer and also dampens high frequency sounds. Silent coat is the same stuff but cheaper. |

The new headlining is ready, I am really pleased with the result:
Click image to enlarge Still some minor things to do, I ordered new speakers (Pioneer TS-G1023I), I'm going to install them in the back panel above the small windows like this: When I have more spare time, I am going to use the left over isolation material (some 1.2 sq.m.) to us in the sides around the windows. Next job is to cure the rattling windows by replacing the window channels lining. The new rubber inserts for the channels were already bought some time ago Cheers, Vincent 1959 Polynorm 1/4 Ton Trailer, Olive Drab Green (sold) 1970 M416 Military Trailer (Camping Trailer Conversion), Epsom Green (sold) 1975 Series III 88 V6, Light Green (sadly sold) 1996 Defender 110 CSW 300 Tdi, Epsom Green (sold) 2000 Freelander 1 TD4 3-drs, Silver (sold) 2006 Freelander 1 TD4 5-drs Facelift Automatic, Tonga Green (sold) MySite |

The Pioneer 3-way speakers arrived, so I could take measurements for the spacer rings, which were made by a good friend of me who does wood turning as a hobby
Click image to enlarge I had to cut a hole for the back of te speaker Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I also had to cut a section of the trim panel Click image to enlarge But final result is OK I think Click image to enlarge Cheers, Vincent 1959 Polynorm 1/4 Ton Trailer, Olive Drab Green (sold) 1970 M416 Military Trailer (Camping Trailer Conversion), Epsom Green (sold) 1975 Series III 88 V6, Light Green (sadly sold) 1996 Defender 110 CSW 300 Tdi, Epsom Green (sold) 2000 Freelander 1 TD4 3-drs, Silver (sold) 2006 Freelander 1 TD4 5-drs Facelift Automatic, Tonga Green (sold) MySite |

Thanks
As a bonus, I finally got rid of 2 roof leaks I coudn't find in 5 year ownership. Two years ago I painted the roof and sealed all roof panel seams and the seams at the sun roof, which cured approx. 85% of the leakage. I now found the course of the remaining water ingress: a very tiny hole at the edge of the roof in the back, when the outer gutter was full of water it came in there and would flow through te inner gutter to the front, where the water then would pour down on your knee at the very first brake action . There was also a minor tear in one of the door rubbers, this was repaired with black sealant.
