What to use to stick down carpets
Hi,

I'm currently recommissioning a Defender 50th. I need some advice on what to use to stick down the interior carpets over the rear tub.

Any products to recommend? I'm thinking double side tape?? Cheers,
Superspoons

Depends if you want it to be permanent or removable? If removable and you want to remove it often then I would go for adhesive velcro.
If permanent I would go for this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stikatak-Supersp...2c4d1cb0b2

Cheers Steve - It'll be permanent so I'm thinking a strong tape of some sort. When I stripped the 50th there were strips of tape holder the carpet to the seat boxes/floor. Cheers,

It's up to you really. The spray glue gives a better over all adhesion though. KEEP CALM AND Drill ON

I would use aerosol upholstery adhesive simply spray the area to be covered and the carpet wait a couple of minutes and position the trim where you want it.
Can probably get it on the bay.
Have used this on RRC headlinings with great results.

Hope this helps Thumbs Up . 2005 Td5 90 XS
