headlight Leveller
Hey there

Had my puma for a few months now and absolutely loving it -Spent 16 hours sat driving the old girl over 2 days last week dont know what this discomfort that people talk about is it was perfect

Anyhoo iv been looking at a few of the Landys on here and what not and noticed the majority have the headlight leveller on left hand side of the dash

My Puma is a 110 58 plate Hard top tow bar etc but doesnt have the leveller would someone be able to help me should i have it or not? or was it an option off of LR haha

Cheers

Alex

Hi Alex, Headlamp level was not fitted to basic commercial spec models. Only found on the Stationwagon models (with a few exceptions) Depending on the spec that was requested by the first buyer you may find quite a few blank spaces for switches in the dashboard. Gives you an excuse to add bits on to help fill the blanks however! Happy Landrovering! Donald Very Happy

the wires are probably there, but not the motors behind the headlights, also the wires in the dash are probably there..

Personally i love it the way it is as i do use it for work everyday and it came from SHB so was a working vehicle before i got it - by the time im finished i wont want to get rid haha

Glad your enjoying the experience even in its most basic form! Be warned however! Its almost impossible not to want to add or change bits to make the vehicle your own if you know what I mean! Exception to this of course would be where a vehicle was very rare in which case modifications would only devalue it. There plenty of ideas when you see what other members have done to their vehicles. Some you will like and others you will hate!. There`s a thread you can search for that lists people`s top mods if you are interested Very Happy

cheers ive been a long time lurker on this forum so i already have a few little mods lined up wouldnt mind seeing this thread though

With having a Ford Capri which i show and doing a bit of Banger Racing i rarely get time to play with it haha - I have so far added a set of Climair wind deflectors and added a Kenwood HU with uprated speakers in the dash, Im soon to add an active sub to the set up - Then its on to re boarding the back with some insulation all of which has been bought but no time to do it haha

My list of mods that i want to do is ever growing but at the current moment in time my wallets telling me im not allowed! Sad

My mate has a 90 Tomb Raider special which has been properly kitted out roof tent, lift, all underbody protection, loads done to it but he wants to take it back to the original TR spec so im eyeing up whatever kit he takes off to grab at mates rates haha

time to get back to reality rather than dreaming about what i want to add to the puma Big Cry
