had a scuppered transfer box recently. it got stuck in low range and no matter how hard I tried just couldn't get it out. tried driving forwards, backwards, neutral, double clutch etc I was even giving the lever some welly pushing HARD towards the dashboard to try and engage high range.......
any how done a blissful 150+ miles today and other than a couple of poor gear changes by me it all drove REALY well. I still have some concerns over the clutch and a vibration at c1750 rpm. done about 350 miles so far on this tank and should get c450+ miles. the first 165miles were pulling the Sankey which was full of camping gear. while pulling the trailer there was a kind of dry rasperty rattly sound which I suspect is the clutch??? anyhow I all seems really good at the moment so long may it continue which means you all get a rest from me moaning hope you've all had a great weekend. .... oh and been really busy so havent had a chance to moan anyhow |

Do people get reckless in their old age? Sat at Oxford services with 446 miles on clock and still no orange low warning light so looking good. More importantly car is running a treat. I've been into oxford centre and how great is that place.....20mph speed limit everywhere. Just left it in 6th and great economy.... And don't start telling me that'll labour the engine cos i'm having none of it i hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine |

Wtf....
Business as usual then. Was checking front diff....but wrong again - James thinks it the rear wheel bearings. IF there is a problem with them I really don't care....well not much anyway. |
