Green lane tours wales
After a vist from the farther in law this weekend we have decided to go greenlane camping this year. After some thought as he lives in South Wales and me in worcester Wales seams the best idea and so we can avoid the organising and take just one vehicle we are thinking of a organised trip.

Does anyone have any recommendations as google brings up loads or sites and many appear to be copied word for word from each other.

In all honesty, just go for it- loads of lanes like Brechfa in South wales or the famous Strata-Florida followed by happy valley further North. Maybe a bit of a forum get together?

Otherwise, the best tours I have seen pictures of have been the 1st Overland ones (but book up quite quickly).

I know it's easy and have looked at it however looked at if for two years now so think book it and date is set. Also would enable us to take just one vehicle saving on fuel toward the cost of the trip.

I will have a look at 1st overland but forum get together sounds good anyone willing to take it on? I would volunteer however it's taken me so long to get to this far the defender replacement would be joining us as a classic by the time I have it sorted Rolling Eyes

I have done a couple of outings with him, and all been good.

If you require more info on doing lanes yourself let me know as I have a few Wales routes. But ultimately if of feel that you need guidance, then I would recommend a weekend being guided. You can then sit back and enjoy, no worries, just follow. This is what I did when I started, now I organise the lanes for my club.

I should either be 1.5hr West or East (depending on house purchase) over that period so would be up for a off-road jaunt/ pint if you have free time.
