Selecting newest post in a thread
Hi Martin,

Amongst all of the recent tweaks you've been making is one where the whole box of a thread or sub-forum is highlighted when moused over. However, on a touch screen device like my iPad, I'm now finding it really difficult to select the little 'latest post' icon. I keep getting the start of a thread rather than the end. I appreciate that it might just be my thick fingers, but wondered if there's anything you could do to make that icon more touch-friendly in the new arrangement? Darren

I was wondering the exact same thing, so glad you've asked that!

I was thinking that the 'upload pics from ipad' button was the 'improvement of the month' Thumbs Up but a bigger or easier to hit last post icon would be good. Can be easier if the page is zoomed of course.

Keep up the good work Martin.

Is there any chance of a "view first unread" button like many other forums have (or if there is one already, where is it)?

It'd be a very useful feature!

The "first unread" is the grey filled icon to the left of the topic name in New Posts:

I've had a first go at this, not sure I'm 100% happy with the layout (particularly moving the "first unread" button to the right), but it's late now so I'll see what reaction it gets in the morning Razz  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Is it just me or is the grey 'last read' button no longer taking you to the last read post?
Seems to hang up somewhere in the thread unless I reboot my computer.

Nope! Not just you! I`m finding the same thing and have to use the mouse to scroll down to the end to see the latest post! Does that count as excercise! Got to try and shed those Christmas pounds somehow! Laughing
