Hello from the Alps
Just found some wifi & thought I'd just say how amazing the Alps are here in Switzerland, took a leisurely drive down through Belgium, Luxembourg & Germany camping twice on the way (fantastic facilities !) stopped off at a friends apartment in Zurich, had a play in the 90 up some incredibly steep narrow breathtaking roads, our friend then took us across a lot of alpine passes - stunning roads & views - looking to camp tonight by the Stelvio pass.

Anyone thinking of planning a trip this is one to seriously consider !

Very little to wild camp on the pass itself,,
At the far end into Italy, there is a reasonable camp site watch the tight hairpin right getting to it

We passed thru Switzerland Friday and Saturday after meeting up with our Swiss friends, then carried on to gran St. Bernard pass being very careful to not exceed the swiss speed limits

Into Italy and cruising at sensible speeds

In Tuscany now, the camera is busy, photos to follow

Back home after a great week away - will upload a few photos (need to work out how Shocked )

Never made it to the Stelvio Pass decided it was a bit to far given our timescale - that's going to be another trip, my 90 never missed a beat the whole journey. Bow down Bow down

Our first ever trip in Europe & certainly won't be our last, loved Germany - France was closed Rolling with laughter

Hello BPMAN,

Am myself back from a trip to Brittany, and would be happy to invite you for a drink or BBQ at the house on your way back up from Italy if you are going to pass through the Romandie area of CH.
