Don't think they need any modification? An engine to TDi for!

My thoughts exactly. They probably decided on the bolt holes using a map instead of a tape measure.

Mine weren't britpart admittedly and fitted to a 02 110. Can take some photos if you think it may be any use but 110 rather than 90 may be different. The holes were in the chassis and the outriggers provided. I scrapped the bolts they sent in favour of stainless ones.

Not a major issue, but I replaced my OEM cubby box with a new Britpart item and was surprised to find that no fitting holes were drilled.

I was hoping for it to be a 5 min unbolt/bolt in job but ended up having to drill holes and make a template.

No drama, but may be how they do things?

If they had been drilled there's a possibility they'd be in the wrong places. Count yourself lucky!

In fairness I wouldn't agree, but know what you mean! The OEM boxes have holes consistantly drilled in the same place, including the plastic trays on late non-cubby vehicles meaning that everything is easily interchangeable.

As I say, not a major issue, but not as plug n play as I'd have expected, or had I bought a genuine cubby from our parts department.

Sorry its been a while since my post,

Thanks for the posts, after all it was really straight forward fitting the side steps just a bit of moving around to figure exactly were to located holes but it went very well and no need for mod.
