I had these in my USW.
When they first arrive you think 'I could have made these' but when you look into the finish and the fact it takes you less than 5 minutes to install you soon realise that actually it's money well spent  |

I took mine back off a few weeks ago, and also the plastic surround, and then put dynamat behind...even quieter now

As a couple of you have had them,
A) what is the space behind the panels like? Enough room for insulation? B) what is the finish on the panels like? Is it that tough carpet stuff? C) is there any improvement in road noise? (All seems to come from the back in my 110 utility and I suspect it is due to those large in insulated panels...) Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

a) they stick onto the panel so there is as much space behind as you want, they'll just sit further from it and stick to what ever insulation you use. They also come with separate fixings you cna drill into the trim to place them out if you're using something like rockwool for insulation.
b) Good, it's fairly hard wearing but I wouldn't line the load bed with it. Harder wearing than the headlining by a long way. |
