Lac du panthier is a nice site for a stop over, has a couple of pools and a restaurant and is near chateaux Neuf du pap if you are a wine drinker

If you are in the area padiraq and rocamador are both worth a visit, I wanted to do cognac and Andorra whilst I was down that way last time but time was not my friend

Have a great time Thumbs Up

Hi Bear,

Am just back from France with my wife, 3 kids and dog.
Highly recommend Chateau De Chanteloupe campsite near Le Mans - not cheap Big Cry but really really nice!

Can also highly recommend the Yelloh Village campsite at Camping Parc de Montsabert (Route de Montsabert
49320 COUTURES, FRANCE) as it's brilliant for kids and an easy drive down from the ferries. We spent 5 days there in July on route to Landrauvergne.

Any of their sites are fantastic for kids and very well run (with the exception of Biaritz) Thumbs Up

Hope it helps.
