 Was at Billing LR Show and had a great hot day walking round the show saturday and meeting Killer90, I foolishly decided to do mud run after overnight heavy rain on Sunday morning

Clean defender!  Click image to enlarge Whoops this is camel trophy stuff! Click image to enlarge Broke down at the jet wash due to a stuffed starter and alternator full of mud. An German defender 90 gave us an bolt to get us going as I lost an bolt off the alternator mount and was rubbing the fan belt away. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge 30 miles later saw aforementioned German defender 90 broken Down near Oxford so immediately pulled over and he had alternator probs too so tow started him and got him going! Gave his name as Oliver Daniel if anyone knows him? had a matzker polo shirt on. Click image to enlarge I get home 170 miles later tapping the alternator every 4-10 miles every time my £5 multimeter said battery was dropping below 9 volts from usual 14.5v! Took a while to get home for sure! and now I'm stripping snotty to clean it all out and replace broken bits! Hell of an adventure!! Seeing I'm stripping interior out I'm replacing it with puma style seats I got free! Pics show after math! Gum, you should have made a stop in Antwerp. There is a very old café (De Engel) next to City Hall which serves the best Stella from the tap in the world.
You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

I think there must be something wrong with me cos i see your pics from playing in the deep water and all they do is reinforce my phobia of the stuff. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Luismi, are you going to LRO Peterborough show? I wont be doing the off road course there after my propensity to go EXTREME haha.
