No I haven't Willy! Was leaning towards BF Goodrich due to previous experience and Coopers due to a recommendation from Fekete. Micky Thompsons, Kumhos etc I have no real feedback from and have already spent a great deal of time trying to source tyres. The last thing I really want is to spend about £600 on a set of boots and find I don't get value for money or the look and stance of the vehicle I desire!
It is perhaps understandably frustrating having to compromise for second, third or fourth best due to unavailability. I am now like a child waiting for Christmas (Spoilt B85tard out of Viz actually) knowing that having shouted loud enough that I will get exactly what I want in 5-6 weeks time! If not I'm going to drive up to the wholesalers on my standard rims and tyres and drop a Mr Whippy through their letterbox or on their counter! Won't resolve the situation but it WILL make me feel a hell of alot better. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
