There appear to be three makes of storage drawers:
Terrafirma Black Widow MSS Do any of you know the pros and cons of these? I prefer the look of the Black Widow one but that's also the most expensive one. I am interested in ease of install, and every day use, rattles etc... Thanks for reading my post. Eugenio www.j33per.net |

There is also 'Sense of Adventure' to consider, they are a sponsor on the forum |

You guessed wrong Brendan,
Eugenio used to have Jeeps (some of the best modified Jeeps in the UK) but he's now a green oval convert |

Thanks Matt. The Sense of Adventure one seems to meet my need. Does anyone here have one installed? If so, what are your findings? www.j33per.net

I have a sense of Adventure one fitted in the back of my 110 and happy with it. Its all black with black chequer plate top which fits the puma arches nicely. Nice bit of laser cut artwork on the drawer itself. (with shiny steel behind so if you like bling ) In black it doesn't look so in your face as some of the plain ali ones.
Its been in there a year or more and so far no complaints, all works well and swallows a whole lot of stuff - its the full length one, right to the back of the seats. Drawer opens nicely and nice and strong. Was missing some fixings on delivery and this was rectified by next post so all in all a thumbs up from me. Can't remember how much it cost, but a fair bit - at the time it was the only full length, black one available and thats what I wanted, so they got the order. I did research several years ago and sense of adventure turned out best.Really helpfull guy.Drawer used in a working vehicle with lots of weight on top.Matting on top with stainless capping stip if required, dividers if required.Recently visited his new workshop when was on holiday in that area. His work is second to none cant recomend him enough.

If you have a Puma with the rear two seats then Sense of Adventure has a very good drawer system that allows you to keep the rear seats which lock down to it. Very expensive, but it will be my choice when I get around to it.

Have used MSS drawers for years. One set in particular has seen a lot of hammer some would say abuse
In most respects they get a big from me. One thing I do not like about most drawer systems is the use of 5 bar ali chequer plate as a top surface for two reasons. 1) It is a right bee to clean if you spill oil of any description on it, rubbish waste dust etc. 2) It has a low coefficient of friction so items skate around the top too readily for my liking. Safari Equip does a very good drawer system which has carpet on the top section. When that gets too 'yukky' it could be replaced. I believe it uses some of the strongest runners available. Price is similiar too other makes. I do not have any photos currently as person responsible is on holiday until next week. Brendan |

How do all these drawer systems attach/get secured down? Is just the weight of them or are you required to drill through the tub etc? 1999 Defender TD5 110
