I remember sticking a grill like that on a Toyota to disguise it at a Series III Club event many years ago

Admit this interior is not to my taste either. But Startech sometimes make very tasteful conversions as for instance the one they had on show at this years Geneva car show. They call that one the Series 3.1...... I saw it and sat in it there and it was a real gem, top class work. Only thing I did not like was the white hard backs of the Recaro's, if those would have been in plain standard black as on the SVX it would have been the full WOW factor....
I do like those side mirrors on the Series 3.1, they are actually G-wagon versions, heated and electric controlled from the dash. If I remember well, that conversion alone from Startech would cost something like €3000...
