Strange it's not the MAF. Classic symptoms of a failed one in my experience.
Will think about it and let you know if anything comes to mind. Good luck Andy |

Fuel pump? giving the correct pressure?
Have you connected the flow & return the right way around? so it's taking some time to purge the system? The pipes aren't too far from each other, so it's possible to do them the wrong way around (ask me how I know...) |

Don't think so, it's only for the first 10/20 seconds then fine, if it was a hose then I guess it would be all the time |

I'll double check the fuel pipe work tomorrow - hopefully it's that simple |

So....................its fixed! No faults on the Hawk Eye pro, checked everything again inc fuelling pipework and found nothing, brought a new OEM MAF, fitted it and fault gone! Yippee! The mad thing is I'd already tried two other ( used ) MAF sensors, both Siemens units and also run with the MAF disconnected, you learn something every day, thanks for all the pointers |

I have exactly the same in my 03 90, done it ever since i bought her and only recently was i informed that it wasn't a safety feature, likewise mine has been on the diagnostics and shows nothing wrong, after those first few seconds it drives like any other td5 i know of, just a if you are stall on a roundabout as its a steady crawl. having spoken to monster tuning they had the same with their eight wheeler and after replacing all sorts just replaced the ECU.
