just got £250 out of land rover. ( nice to get something) However what to spend it it on. I have to spend it at a stealer so i wont get much for my money and i get "Eric" serviced at an indie so it will need to be acessories. Don't mind topping it up a bit. I thought about the driving lights. What to people think? (Eric does go off road but not a lot) any thoughts.

Dan at Duckworths will take your money off you
The LR driving lights are overpriced in my opinion, there are a lot of nicer aftermarket ones available from various forum sponsors (Mobile Centre, Overlander 4x4 etc) If I had a LR voucher I'd spend it on seat covers, dog guard, mats, wheels or 'bank it' with your favoured dealer 'just incase' |

If you don't already have them full genuine rubber mat set. Should be more or less around that total. No Guts, No Glory.

In my case i was offered the £500 as a result of a fault to my car ( under warranty) and all the hassle i went through, from my own experience Land Rover did care about my issue and they did work hard to resolve it with range rover replacemnet vehicle offered by LR directly not my dealer and reimbeursed me for all the expenses along with the £500 voucher to use it in any of their dealers all in all top service i must say 2.2 90 XS |

Ah good. Sadly mine isn't under warranty and I don't wish it to have a fault either. I do have a rusting rear ladder though but seeing as I have tried to re-paint it myself and now it's starting to corrode yet again I doubt they'll be too bothered. The dealer I purchased from is nearly 100 miles away anyway so penny wise and pound foolish I guess in cost of fuel. No Guts, No Glory.

No, I don't, never ever You never actually own a Defender. Can you use it to spend on Landrover Experience Off-Road courses?
If it was my choice and you could then that is what I would do. As for the parts, you would be stuck with whatever LR will sell you when you could go to the market and get a better choice, better quality and cheaper too. |
