Depends if the Calibration is matched to the exhaust? You might find your Defender will end up surging as turbo is trying to control... which isn't ideal. I read this (old) thread with interest. Did you finally measure CO and HC before and after the de-cat-project and can post the values? Did anyone compare emissions before and after the de-cat? Important would be the milage of the vehicle as well to evaluate the potential coating of the cat-cells that causes reduced output/catalysis... |

I have 3 decat Defender 2,4 beter drivig, lower consumption cca. 650 km/67 lit. My 2,2 def with DPF 460-510 km/67 lit.

Cheers, so is it better saving primary energy (lower consuption, lower particle emission) or wasting primary energy due to collecting particles and burning them to ash...

Yes! De-cat lowers consumption, DPF rises it. So the question is what's better. Saving energy or particles...
