Right, i have just arrived home from a great uncles 70th Bday. The Party was held at a very lovely grounds which is located in Upshire, Essex near waltham abbey and Epping forest. He is a key holder for the grounds and after speeking said he could let the area out for a weekend on behalf of the owner. The area is lovely and is fully gated with onsite toilets, bar area, parking and camping. Perhaps this could be a chance to have the proper annual Defender2 get together
Lets see if its of interest to anyone and i will sort out some dates say October time as there isnt any shows around then and the weather should still be good. Ill get a BBQ sorted out on site along with drinks etc and then just bring what you can sort of thing, would be nice to have a few site sponsors on show aswell to show off there goods I was thinking £5.00 entry just to cover fees of renting it and also food and drink costs If interested click on the poll Photos below: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge CSK Automotive www.cskautomotive.co.uk Like us on Facebook - www.facebook.com/csklr Follow us on Instagram - @cskautomotive |

Its lovely and i know everyone on here would enjoy it so lets get some more Its a bit of a trek for some people but i think you'll never please all plus its only a once a year thing and if it works out well we could have it as an official annual event which would be good CSK Automotive www.cskautomotive.co.uk Like us on Facebook - www.facebook.com/csklr Follow us on Instagram - @cskautomotive |

Looks a great place but 250 miles is a bit far for a week end. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

Now that is a very good idea If we get enough interest and it all goes ahead. Furthest traveled gets a CSK Gloss black Steering guard CSK Automotive

Subject all the usual checking of final proposed dates etc (Kiddies half term towards end Oct), then I'd certainly have an interest.
Not too far for me to travel this time. Unlike the last time, when it all fell apart and I was billy no mates down in Kent (kidding Chris - my lad and I had a great time down Wrotham way in May ) I wonder if it's possible to extend the time on site to say up to Fri - Mon, so at least folk considering putting in the longer miles can make more of break of it and people can drop in at their leisure??? Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless. |

Great idea
3 hours and 160miles, if the option of a fri-mon was available then I think we could make the trip, Maybe a little convoy from the north could gather enroute as we're all friendly up these parts its only a car! |
