I had one fail - right when I needed it ( ) on my Disco 2.
So when the Defender was new, I bought a 2nd one. Now I have a back-up taped inside the battery box, and the original in my spares box in the back Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

If you take your new key and reinforce it with a girdle before it breaks, it will last longer! They have been known to break when used correctly.

Speak to Dan at Duckworths, you don't have to be 'in the trade' to buy one

I am technically in the trade anyway, but wondered if there were alternative options for buying
