We bought an electric cool box from Aldi for £35. It's mains and 12v powered. If your travelling everyday, the power consumption should be ok on a single battery and will keep milk etc fresh so you don't need to buy every day.
I think it's 30l so a good size too. Cheers Simon |

We manage to stay almost 4 weeks in the Patagonia without one,
So it is not a must, but simplify the life in certain ways. Cheers Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |

If it works OK then £50.00 not a bad deal, it's an Engel 10 re-badged for Land Rover possibly 15-20 years old. |

Could go the cheap route and see if you get any benefit form it before purchasing an expensive item - nothing wrong with a plastic cooler box and a bag of ice every day/other day depending.
In Oz we managed with a 40 litre polystyrene box colloquially know as an eskie. Lid got damaged a few times and ended up with half a roll of duct tape to hold it all together but cost the grand total of $7.99 and lasted 3 months being used every day before going in the bin. |
