United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Stornoway Grey
General Grabbers 235/85/16
I'm trying to gauge what sort of interest (if any) I'd get for my GG's in the above size. I want to change to BFG muds, but want to see if I could offest some of the cost of the new tyres.

They've got 3.5k on them, no cuts/grazes, etc etc......would probably go as a set of 5 (I imagine) - what does everyone think I should ask/get for them? About £75/£80 each seem reasonable?

Anyone? - your thoughts........? Mark

Very helpful, thanks....in fact, I think you're the only person I've ever heard call these tyres 'ice cream van tyres'. Mark

May as well keep them in the garage then, I guess.....if the BFG's last that long, prob be able to remove them to go on my next Defender, putting the OE GG's back on!!

Will you be selling them on rims? If so, what rims are they and is it a full set of 5.
I agree about the ice cream van tyres, but who cares.....

Sorry Peter, would be tyres only, i'm afraid. I think at only £50 per tyre I'd rather leave them in the garage though, unless I'm made a better offer. Mark

The company i use for all my tyres used to offer Land Rover outlets £50 trade-in for these GG 235's if taken from a new defender against more suitable tread patterns chosen by the buyer of the new vehicle... he ended up with dozens of sets he couldn't give away so that deal is not on offer any more. They eally are for road use only as they turn to slicks at the sight of soft ground. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Keep them for winter use, they work better in icy conditions than BFGs imo. Pimped black '07 Puma
