They could not replicate the fault to diagnose it in mine. It's random and doesn't seem to affect anything so it's yet another quirk to get used to!

My car was in a couple of weeks ago. They told me, they had to change a part to fix it. The part was on backorder, but they have it now...
I'll ask them when I get my car back. Who knows it might be helpfull for you guys.

I have also had this happen once. ( 2.2 MY13) Light came on whilst driving at night time for a couple of seconds. Just radio on and no phone on charege etc. Not happened since.
Interesting how many others have had it.

Well, had a nice drive in a 240 bhp Evoque, but was utterly happy to get my slow workhorse back.
If I understood them correctly they swapped the immobilizer AND the intstrument panel. Shocked
Haven't seen the red light flashing for now. Very Happy

Has the dealer tried to fix it for you?

I haven't seen the red flashing light after my last visit to the dealer. My guess is you have exactly the same problem I 'had'. Could make a copy of the paper with the parts they changed, but it's all in Dutch.

I'll send you a copy tomorrow. Hopefully you they get things sorted with it. If they prefer I can always give you my dealers adress. I guess main dealers should be willing to help each other out...

Steve, not sure if you have received my pm, but if not, send me your mail address and I'll make sure you get the copy of the warranty stuff done to the vehicle. Around 5.000 km further. Problem seems to fixed.
