Wales
Good day,

In the autumn we will visit Wales and we wondered if we can get some greenlane tracks, small natural campsites and places that we definitely should not miss.
We also like some about hiking.

The idea is that we take the boat from Dunkirk to Dover with our car, and then we have a week to travel to Wales:
Hadley Hotels Ltd Trading as
Llanerchindda Farm Guest House
& Self Catering Cottages
Cynghordy
Llandovery

We ourselves have for people who are interested in tracks information about: Tunisia, Morocco, Norway, Sweden and Spain.
With corresponding pictures on our site.

Ahhh Llanerchindda, know it well, good friends, have spent many great days and nights in the company of the Hadleys. The owners are simply the most accommodating people I have ever had the pleasure of staying with. They are VERY knowledgeable when it comes to the green lanes of mid Wales and have their own off road course on site as well, which is good fun. Oh I forgot about the meals... Wow all homemade and delicious, they will also make you packed lunches for when you are green laning if you want.

Mid Wales is simply gorgeous with some superb green lanes, there are also some awesome lanes in North East Wales too around Llangollen and the Ceiriog Valley which will keep you busy for a good day or so.

As for camping, check out Tiny Campsites (http://www.tinycampsites.co.uk/) if you are looking for small secluded quirky camping. I like them a lot, definitely not mainstream and almost always off the beaten track.

If you are looking for a bit of fun whilst driving from A to B around the UK check out these books,

The most amazing scenic journeys in Britain http://www.amazon.co.uk/Most-Amazing-Sceni...pd_sim_b_1

The most amazing places to visit in Britain http://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazing-Places-Bri...in+Britain

Ignore the "readers Digest" logo, these are brilliant and lead you to some simply amazing places all across the UK. I used them on a 3 week tour from Cornwall to Yorkshire last October. They are very easy to use and informative as well. I think we picked both of them up for te grand sum of £3.95 incl P+P off of Amazon... Mr. Green

Plus I am positive there are plenty of folks of this here forum that would be very willing to join you on your laning around Wales. Me included if I can get the time off Harvest Smile

Very close... Strata Florida is the green lane, so named after the defunct Abbey at its northern end.

If you get up to the Barmouth area there are a few good lanes including Happy Valley - which is great. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

What dates were you thinking of visiting wonderful Wales? I am a born and bred Welshman and also a keen Land Rover enthusiast. I have led numerous green lane trips here in Wales and have led expeditions to Africa, up into the Arctic Circle and across the Alps. I am passionate about what we have here in Wales and I would enjoy sharing my local knowledge with you, and showing you what the Welsh countryside has to offer. I can also advise in relation to trustworthy and reliable recovery and repair facilities should something go wrong with the Landy. Feel free to message me in relation to any queries you may have. I love all aspects of Land Rover travel and have enjoyed help and guidance from different people in many different countries. In my opinion, that's part of what make Land Rovers great, and that is why I would enjoy helping you.
